Hey! I'm Montes, a person glued to a computer screen, I have 2 passions, creating with my computer and traveling.

That's why I spend most of my time getting to know new places while I work remotely in the mornings and dedicate myself to my projects in the afternoons, and of course also to get to know the place where I am, but without much haste since I usually spend at least a month in each place.

Working

Remote Job

I have a remote job with some daily hours that I have to fulfill, whose schedule changes depending on the time zone where I am, for example in Latin America I usually start working between 3am and 5am.

Side Projects

It's been already ~20 years since I created my first webpage in Geocities and then my first CMS with PHP-Nuke; and after many years of creating websites timidly trying to earn some money, most of them unfinished projects, and never earn a single €.

But at the end of 2019 I suddenly started earning serious money from 2 sources at the same time! Through Google Ads with acuestas.es (my web about motorhomes and campervans) and through Amazon Affiliates with mejores.cc, but this earnings heavily depended on this pages' SEO and sadly this only lasted until 2022 when visits to these pages, especially Amazon ones, suddenly went to almost zero due to changes in the google algorithm and I was unable to fix the situation 😣

So as I'm so passionate about travel, I'm now focused on my target to make useful travel related webpages that grow in users and also generate revenue, and to achieve this target I'm making one page at a time until I completely finish it and launch it! because after so many years I've never launched one of my websites, so I'll be putting also a good % of my time in the needed marketing! this has been always a big struggle for me but I'm convinced I'll be able to fix it 💪

Traveling

I've always traveled as much I could, but it was in 2019 when I started seriously with the digital nomad style visiting Scotland, Malta, Hungary... until pandemic came and as everybody, I was forced to stop for a while. Then in 2022 I went to NY for 10 weeks, then bought an appartment in Barcelona (my favorite city), renovated it myself and then sold almost all my things and rented it out in 2023 when I started an indefinite travel that still lasts to this day!
